First Rock Real Estate reports stable first quarter performance

First Rock Real Estate Investments is reporting a stable financial performance for the first quarter ended March 31, 2026, with earnings supported by growth in rental income and improved cost controls.

The company recorded net profit of approximately US$522,000, a slight decline when compared with the corresponding period last year.

The performance was driven largely by a 10 per cent increase in rental income, which rose to about US$324,000, reflecting continued strength in the group's commercial real estate portfolio.

The company also benefitted from foreign exchange gains and income from joint venture investments.

Operationally, the company reported progress on its Hambani Estates development, where additional units have reached completion, with the remaining units expected to be finished in the second quarter.

Looking ahead, the group says it will continue to focus on expanding recurring income streams, completing development projects and pursuing new acquisitions, including planned investments in Costa Rica and Martinique.
