The former Ritz-Carlton Rose Hall in Montego Bay will soon become a member of the Hyatt chain. Hyatt Ziva Rose Hall, which will focus on families, is one of a series of all-inclusive resorts the company will be opening through its newly-formed Playa company. The Hyatt Ziva will open in early 2014.
Hyatt invested in the Playa Hotels and Resorts company earlier this year as part of a plan to increase its all-inclusive portfolio in the region. Playa purchased the former Ritz-Carlton earlier this year. It closed the deal on that investment earlier this month.
