A Jamaican-born singer residing in Guyana was on Thursday shot dead in Greater Georgetown.
He is 29-year-old Navar George Barton, who went by the stage name Stero Don.
According to the police, Mr. Barton was shot in the head outside his home in Sophia, shortly after he was heard arguing with someone over money.
One man is in custody in connection with the shooting and another is being sought.
