Jamaica's economy grew 1.7% in fourth quarter of 2023

 The Statistical Institute of Jamaica (STATIN) says the economy grew by 1.7 per cent during the fourth quarter of 2023 when compared to the fourth quarter of 2022.
It noted that this was the result of growth in both the services and goods producing industries.
The services industry grew by 2.0 per cent, while the goods producing industry grew by 0.8 per cent.
