Jamaica National
Building Society (JNBS) has solidified its number one position in the local
building society industry.
Data from the Bank of Jamaica show JNBS has increased its lead over its nearest rival Victoria Mutual Building Society, (VMBS) in terms of asset base.
At the end of September Jamaica National held $83.6 billion in assets-- $30 billion more than VMBS.
Scotia Jamaica Building Society came in third place with an asset base of $9.1 billion which was slightly above First Caribbean International Bank which held $9 billion.
