The JSE Index advanced by 1,634 points on Wednesday, while The Junior Market Index advanced by 71 points.
There was trading in 114 stocks, of which 60 advanced, 35 declined and 19 traded firm.
TransJamaican Highway was the volume leader with 14 per cent of total volume.
