Following the recent inspection of the National Stadium and Sabina Park as possible venues for the 2031 FIFA Women's World Cup, JFF president Michael Ricketts remains confident the country will be successful in its bid to jointly host the tournament with the USA, Mexico and Costa Rica.
The assessment of the National Stadium and Sabina Park was carried out by a FIFA inspection team on February 12 and 13.
The joint proposal put forward by Jamaica, USA, Mexico and Costa Rica is only bid to host the 2031 Women's World Cup. FIFA will announce at its Congress on April 30 if the joint bid to host the tournament has been approved.
