The ongoing
expansion of the Kingston Container Terminal will enter another phase Friday
with Transport Minister Mike Henry scheduled to open the facility's western
berth.
Kingston Terminal, which is one of the world's leading container transshipment ports, is operated under a management contract by APM Terminals Jamaica Limited.
The fifth phase expansion has increased storage capacity by 100%.
