Competition in Jamaica's cable TV industry is about to heat up as businessman Chris Dehring has received an all island cable TV licence for his recently formed Digital Interactive Services.
The company, which he co-owns with David Cassanova, received a special licence from the Broadcasting Commission which will allow it to use wired and wireless technology to deliver cable TV service islandwide.
It will operate under the brand ReadyTV.
It is to be launched islandwide early next year.
