The Bank of Jamaica is reporting that net remittances, the difference between inflows and outflows, climbed to US$475.5 million during the period January to February this year.
That is compared with US$461.4 million during the similar period last year.
This was due to inflows of US$514.9 million and outflows of US$39 million during the period January to February this year, compared with inflows of US$499 million and outflows of US$38.1 million during the first two months of last year.
