The National Housing Trust says it will be launching the Small Development Partnership Programme next month to help land holders with small plots in urban areas to build new and affordable housing solutions.
Brian Saunders, Senior General Manager for Construction & Development at the NHT, says the programme will be designed to encourage land holders, particularly those in urban areas, whose properties already have water, light and sewage systems to offer these lands for development.
He adds that the NHT will provide the technical and financial assistance as well as the marketing support needed to transform the property into affordable housing solutions.
