One year after the launch of the Super Lotto Game, Supreme Ventures Limited is expressing frustration, at not having had a winner for the multi-million-dollar jackpot.
However, the company says it is trying to reduce the odds, to make it easier for someone to win.
Brian George, the gaming company's President and Chief Executive Officer, highlighted that the odds of winning the game have been reduced from about one in 11 million, to one in four million.
But still, there has been no winner in the first year of the Super Lotto launch.
“One never knows about a game of that nature … maybe it’s the wrong time, maybe it’s the wrong price, we don’t know. We’ve done the research which suggests that it’s the right game at the right price point but like everything else, you can do all of the right tings and not get the results that you’re looking for and we’ve certainly have seen that with the Super Lotto,” Mr. George said.
He said the hope is to expand the game into Trinidad in the near future, while he says expansion plans for Supreme Ventures into Latin America are now on hold.
In the near term, Mr. George said the company will be focusing on its opportunities in the English speaking Caribbean.
