Omni Industries expands exports to St. Lucia and Dominica

As the country seeks to boost exports in the wake of the devastation caused by Hurricane Melissa, Omni Industries recently expanded its exports market to include St. Lucia and Dominica.

It recently exported 4,000 five-gallon paint buckets and lids to those countries in order to help boost their construction sectors.

The company says that shipment forms part of its medium-term objective to increase the contribution of exports to its total revenues and to strengthen its position as a regional supplier.

In order to support this objective, the company's managing director, Patrick Kumst, said it has already made several shipments to Guyana and Barbados, which are yielding tangible results.
