The Financial Services Commission (FSC) is reporting that the securities sector generated pre-tax profits of $6.51 billion during the quarter which ended in June of 2025, an increase of 551 per cent when compared with the same period last year.
These revenues flowed primarily from trading in equities and bonds.
The FSC also pointed out that its report assessed 19 of the 33 securities dealers who controlled 90 per cent of the sector's $981 billion in assets.
This is an increase of 5.3 per cent when compared to June of 2025.
Total funds under management also climbed to $1.9 trillion, an increase of 7.8 per cent.
