The JSE index advanced by 2,072 points, while the Junior market rose by 30 points.
Among the 49 winners were: Dolla Financial Services, KLE Group, Medical Disposables and Supplies, Jamaican Teas and TTECH.
The 43 losers included: JMMB Group 7 per cent Variable Jamaican Dollar Cumulative Redeemable Preference Shares, Margaritaville (Turks), Sterling Investments - US Dollar Shares, Eppley Caribbean Property Fund- SCC and EduFocal.
Eighteen stocks traded firm.
