The JSE Index gained 1,117 points today, while the Junior Market increased by 47 points.
Among the 42 winners were: GWest Corporation, PBS 9.75 per cent shares, Blue Power Group, Medical Disposables and Supplies and Caribbean Assurance Brokers.
The 42 losers included: Sygnus Real Estate Finance, Margaritaville Turks US dollar shares, Sagicor Select Funds - Manufacturing and Distribution, Proven Group and Ciboney Group.
Eighteen stocks traded firm.
