The JSE Index gained 1,119 points on Thursday, while the Junior Market increased by 76 points.
Among the 50 winners were: Knutsford Express Services, Eppley 7.25 per cent preference shares, Berger Paints Jamaica, Cargo Handlers and General Accident Insurance Company.
The 31 losers included: JMMB Group 5.75 per cent US dollar shares, Sygnus Credit Investments 10.5 per cent Jamaican dollar preference shares due 2025.
Sixteen stocks closed the session at the same price they started trading.
