Tax Administration Jamaica (TAJ) has introduced a property tax query online service. This will make it easier for persons to access information about their property tax status without having to visit a tax office.
Property owners can log on to TAJ’s website and enter their valuation number, to check the status of their property tax, going back seven years. The new online feature will allow persons to view their accounts to see what payments were made and what amount is outstanding. Taxpayers can also generate and print a payment advice.
