VM Money Transfer Services and JMMB Money Transfer have stopped offering their remittance services through one sub-agent in the parish of Portland.
In a notice, the Bank of Jamaica says both entities voluntarily surrendered their licences to offer services through Tari Solutions Company, situated on Harbour Street, Port Antonio.
The central bank says however that Tari Solutions is still operational, and is authorised to provide remittance services for JN Money Services and Alliance Financial Services.
VM Money Transfer Services still has 93 other locations operational islandwide, while JMMB Money Transfer runs 112.
