A new President is to be
elected on Thursday to head the Jamaica Used Car Dealers Association.
Kenneth Shaw, who has held the post for seven terms, says he will not seek re-election when the Association hold its annual general meeting on Thursday evening,
"And as the incumbent I do not intend to seek re-election for another year. I have done it for seven consecutive years and I think for any organization after seven years it is good to put in new blood, new ideas," Mr. Shaw said.
Minister Finance Audley Shaw and Commerce Minister Karl Samuda are scheduled to address the AGM.
