Dancehall superstar Beenie Man’s performance alongside Trinidadian-American hip-hop superstar, Nicki Minaj on BET’s 106 & Park in New York is not to be.
They were scheduled to perform their new hit collaboration, Gunshot, the first single off Minaj’s new album, Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded to be launched Tuesday April 3.
Beenie Man’s management team says the iconic Dancehall artiste cannot meet his performing obligation on the BET show as he does not currently have a work permit.
He does hold a visitor’s visa.
