On Wednesday October 13 Jamaicans will get a preview of the highly anticipated Jamaican movie "Better Mus Come".
The movie highlights Jamaica's turbulent socio-political past of the 1970s, and the events that led to the military killing of several alleged political agitators and gang leaders of the time.
The movie was filmed on location here in Jamaica.
Better Mus Come is the story of Ricky a young man living in the inner city who is trying to fight against the odds he faces in downtown Kingston.
It delves into Ricky's romance with an educated country girl Kemala who comes to live in an opposing inner city community.
She encourages him to convince his crew to stop the war but to no avail.
The movie is written and directed by Storm Saulter.
Cast members include Everaldo Creary of the group Nomadz, Sheldon Shepherd and Roger Guenveur Smith.
Musical director is Wayne Armond, who is lead singer of veteran reggae group Chalice.
