The Bob Marley Foundation and the Bob Marley Museum are making preparations for the commemoration of the 30th anniversary of the reggae icon's death.
Bob Marley died from cancer on May 11, 1981.
On Wednesday, flowers will be available for visitors to the museum on Old Hope Road, for placement at the feet of the Marley statue on the grounds.
A mento band will provide live renditions of Marley’s music throughout the day.
In 1999 Time Magazine dubbed the Bob Marley and the Wailers’ Exodus the greatest album of the 20th century while the BBC'S named One Love the song of the millennium.
Marley’s children continue to keep his name current through the manifestation of their own talent.
