The finals for the Heineken Green Synergy 2010 competition will be held at the National Indoor Sports Centre Friday night.
DJ 47 and DJ Jerry are the two finalists battling it out for the coveted title.
This year the competition took on the feel of a reality show and these two finalists passed all the tests.
Friday night's winner will receive over $1 million in cash and prizes plus an internship on RJR's Fame 95FM.
Guest performer at the finals will be Grand Master Flash, one of the pioneers of hip-hop music and the godfather of the turntables.
Grand Master Flash, who is known the world over for making an indelible and inimitable mark on the evolution of the music, will also be presenting a special award to the winner.
The Heineken Green Synergy competition is the premier DJ competition in the world.
It is held in many countries across the globe and is known for creating some of the biggest names on the turntables.
For the Heineken Green Synergy finals, the Grand Master says he is anxiously waiting to hear the presentations of the finalists.
"I am most looking forward to seeing how the contestants handle timing," he said.
He noted that for anyone who wants to do well in the music or entertainment industry, they must be committed and love what they do.
This will be Flash's debut performance in Jamaica.
