Jamaican recording artiste Tessanne Chin recently confirmed that she auditioned for the blockbuster vocal competition 'The Voice'.
The show, which airs on NBC, aims to find the strongest vocalists across the United States. The innovative format of the show includes four stages of competition: The first begins with the blind auditions, then the battle rounds, the knockouts and finally, the live performance shows.
The new season of 'The Voice' will premiere on Monday, September 23 during which Tessanne's blind audition will be featured.
A source says the singer will appear on the September 23 episode but did not divulge any more information. Tessanne rose to fame in 2006 with the release of her single, Hideaway. She followed up with her debut album "In Between Words" in 2011.
