17 beaches and 19 rivers closed due to COVID-19 breaches

Local Government Minister Desmond McKenzie on Tuesday announced that 17 beaches and 19 rivers will be closed for two weeks, effective August 14, due to breaches of COVID-19 protocols. 
 
Mr. McKenzie said he is especially concerned about overcrowding at these spots despite COVID-19 prevention measures.
 
The affected beaches and rivers are:

Bob Marley Beach
Cane River Falls
Grove River
Cane River (Dallas)
Hope River
 
St. Catherine
 
Hellshire Beach
Caymanas River/Natures Paradise River
 
Clarendon
 
Farquhar's Beach
Salt River
Cockpit River
 
Manchester
 
Alligator Pond Beach
Alligator Pond River
Noisy River (Oxford River)
Gutts River
 
St. Elizabeth
