Jamaica's COVID-19 positivity rate has climbed to almost 50 per cent.
The Ministry of Health has reported that 769 cases were confirmed from 1,499 samples on Sunday.
This resulted in a positivity rate of 48.4 per cent.
Hospitalisations from COVID-19 have also increased by 14 to 137.
Sixteen of those admitted are severely ill, while four people are in critical condition.
At the same time, a 91-year-old man from St. Ann is the latest person to die from the virus in Jamaica.
The death toll is now 2,477.
Another death is being investigated by the Ministry of Health.
