One of three men who on Sunday night broke into a fishing
facility in Old Harbour Bay,
St. Catherine drowned after he jumped into the sea to avoid being captured.
The dead man has been identified as 24-year-old Marlon Coombs otherwise called "Chest" of Terminal Road in the community.
It is reported that shortly after one o'clock Mr. Coombs and the other men broke into a storehouse.
They were spotted by security personnel.
Mr. Coombs reportedly jumped into the sea while his friends were held and handed over to the Old Harbour Bay police.
About 12:30 Monday morning his body was found floating at the back of the power plant and fished from the sea.
