Health authorities in Barbados are reporting an increase in cases of COVID-19 over the last four weeks, including three deaths at two health institutions.
The cases were identified at the geriatric and psychiatric hospitals, both located in St. Michael on the southwest of the island.
A statement did not give the number of patients suffering from the virus but said that the ministry has been able to contain the transmission of the virus at the institutions.
