The Beryllium security guard, who allegedly stole more than $15 million in a heist last Saturday, is now in police custody.
The 32-year-old driver of the security company was caught Thursday off Hope Road in St. Andrew.
He was listed as the prime suspect.
The man reportedly gave a caution statement to the police.
The management of Beryllium security company on Thursday confirmed the theft of assets from one of its trucks on Saturday and said it had launched a comprehensive internal investigation.
The man reportedly removed a bag containing the cash from an armoured truck while a Beryllium team was servicing ATM machines at the MegaMart Superstore on Waterloo Road on Saturday morning.
The suspect, who was left in the truck, was seen on CCTV footage exiting the compound with a bag. He left his uniform and the firearm assigned to him.
