Nick Perry
US President Joe Biden has announced his intent to nominate a Jamaican immigrant, Nick Perry, for the post of Ambassador to Jamaica.
The announcement was made by the White House on Wednesday.
Mr. Perry has served for three decades as an Assemblyman in the New York State Legislature.
He is currently the Assistant Speaker of the New York State Assembly and a Regional Vice Chairman of the National Black Caucus of State Legislators.
