Trinidad & Tobago's state-owned Paria Fuel Trading Company, has confirmed that three bodies of the four welders that went missing while working on a 36-inch underwater crude oil pipeline over the weekend, have been recovered.
The company did not identify the bodies found but said the families had been notified.
In a statement issued late Monday night, Paria reiterated that a full investigation will be launched to understand the root cause of the incident.
The company announced on Sunday that the response to the explosion had movved on from a rescue operation to recovery mode.
The search for the final body is continuing.
