A British visitor drowned Sunday at a beach along Norman Manley Boulevard in Negril, Westmoreland. He has been identified as 65-year-old retired postman Garfield Russell of Essex in England. Reports are that shortly before noon Mr Russell was swimming when he got into difficulties and drowned.
His body was later removed from the water.
