Finance Minister Fayval Williams is scheduled to open the 2025/2026 Budget Debate this afternoon in the House of Representatives.
This will be her maiden appearance in the Budget Debate, having succeeded Dr Nigel Clarke as Finance Minister late last year.
The presentation will be aired live on TVJ and JNN and the debate will culminate with Minister Williams delivering the closing presenation on Tuesday, March 25.
Key figures in government and the parliamentary opposition will contribute to the debate.
Opposition Spokesman on Finance, Planning and the Public Service, Julian Robinson will present this Thursday, followed by Leader of the Opposition Mark Golding, next Tuesday, March 18.
Prime Minister Dr. Andrew Holness will make his presentation on Thursday, March 20.
