The St. Andrew North Police are searching for the suspect behind an attack at the Oakland Apartment complex in St. Andrew, this morning.
A 34-year-old businessman was shot in the incident.
It's reported that about 9 o'clock, the complainant was exiting his apartment when he observed a man standing by the elevator.
The man then approached him, held him around his neck and demanded his belongings.
This led to a tussle between the two.
During the altercation the businessman was shot in the hand.
The gunman jumped into a waiting Toyota Probox motor vehicle with two other suspects aboard.
The businessman is receiving treatment.
