The US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has lowered its COVID-19 travel advisory for Jamaica to level one.
Countries classified as level one have low cases of the virus.
Jamaica has moved from level four to level one in less than a month.
Tourism Minister Edmund Bartlett said the adjustment has put Jamaica in the best position and in "an elite league with just a handful of countries globally for our very low COVID incidence rate".
The new classification was announced on Monday.
