Jamaica's Centre for the Investigation of  Sexual Offences and Child Abuse (CISOCA) is probing the origin of  a video, now in circulation on mobile devices, which shows school girls engaging in sexual acts.

The pictures and videos mostly depict female students engaging in sexual acts with each other. Others show the students carrying out sexual acts with a man. It's understood that the man films the scenes to make movies which he sells.

Education Minister Ronald Thwaites told RJR News that at least one Clarendon based high school has already responded to the video.

The school authorities, he said had "gathered together the school population; they have brought together the guidance counselors and others who can help." These in-house personnel will receive additional expertise from the Ministry of Education's Region Six, which includes Clarendon, the Minister disclosed.

Additionally, he explained, a diciplinary committee will be meeting next week to consider the matter.
