Rushane Barnett, who confessed to killing his cousin and her four children in Cocoa Piece, Clarendon in June, is to be sentenced in the Home Circuit Court today.
The sentencing, which was initially set for last month, was postponed after presiding judge Justice Leighton Pusey said he wanted time to consider the sentence that is to be imposed.
Barnett was further remanded.
Barnett pleaded guilty on July 28, to the murder of 31-year-old Kemisha Wright and her children: 15-year-old Kimanda Smith, 12-year-old Sharalee Smith, five-year-old Rafaella Smith and 23-month-old Kishawn Henry.
