Colin Campbell among aspirants for top JUTC post

Following last month’s  resignation of Rear Admiral Hardley Lewin from the Jamaica Urban Transit Company (JUTC), Colin Campbell, a former Information Minister, is listed among five aspirants who have applied for the post of Managing Director.  

RJR sources have confirmed, that Campbell, who's also a former State Minister for Transport, was nudged to apply for the post.

However, Garnett Roper, Chairman of the JUTC refused to say if Campbell is among the short listed aspirants. 

Rear Admiral Lewin’s resignation took effect on July 31.

The former Commissioner of Police and Chief of Staff of the Jamaica Defence Force was appointed in March last year.
