Delroy Erskine, the man who was accused of the 2015 murders of two sisters in May Pen, Clarendon has been convicted for the crime.
Erskine, 52, who has been in custody for nearly 10 years, was convicted on Wednesday by a seven-member jury in the Clarendon Circuit Court.
He is to be sentenced on January 9, 2026.
Erskine, a construction worker, was charged in 2016 with the murders of 18-year-old Feleisha Bryan, who was a sixth-form student at Vere Technical High School, and her 23-year-old sister Janelle Howell.
Their bodies, which had a stab wounds, were found in bushes near their home in Land Lease in October 3, 2015.
Erskine, who fled the community after the incident, was captured in St. Ann in January 2016.
He confessed to the crime when he was captured but strongly denied the allegations at his trial.
