Four members of the Jamaica Constabulary Force who are said to be members of the Clarendon-based Ronko Gang were remanded when they appeared in the Home Circuit Court on Wednesday.
Constable Tafari Silvera, who is the alleged leader of the gang, and Constables Daneilo Barnes, Rojay Morrison and Tehneil Francis will remain in custody until June 10 when there will be a bail application.
A bail application is also scheduled for the lone female accused, Jassett Brown, and Tevin Henriques, David Henry, Ovilgo McKenzie and Nicholas Simpson.
Prior to Wednesday's adjournment, the court was told that Anthony Campbell, another civilian accused, was absent due to technical difficulties and is to appear in court later this week.
The Ronko Gang has been linked to shootings, robberies and abductions in seven parishes between 2019 and 2021.
