A craft vendor and her spouse were shot dead on Friday morning in Mango Walk Lane, Mountainside, St. Elizabeth.
They have been identified as Sharon Calder and Richard Foster.
It's understood that about 3:45, Ms. Calder and her common law husband were making their way to Mountainside square when explosions were heard.
When the shooting subsided, Ms. Calder's body was seen in the lane while Mr. Foster's body was found meters away in bushes.
Ms. Calder's brother, Carlton, who described his sister as loving and caring, called for the killers to be brought to justice.

In the meantime, Superintendent Coleridge Minto, head of the St. Elizabeth Police, said Friday morning's act is surprising, as the community has not had any such incident for more than a year.
He appealed for anyone with information on the crime to contact the police at 119, Crime Stop at 311 or the Black River Police Station.
