Dancehall entertainer Flippa Mafia held on drug charges in US

Thirty four year old Jamaican dancehall entertainer Flippa Mafia is among nine persons arrested and charged in the United States in connection with an international drug trafficking ring. Flippa Mafia, whose given name is Andrew Davis was arrested last month in California and extradited to the state of New Jersey to face charges. He is charged with money laundering, distribution of cocaine, conspiracy and leading a narcotics trafficking network.

Flippa Mafia's brother 22-year-old Kemar Davis of a Hollywood, California address and 28-year-old Marsha Bernard said to be a major player in the international cocaine ring also face similar charges. The authorities said the Davis brothers assisted by Miss Bernard and other accomplices moved large amounts of drugs from Jamaica to  California and New Jersey. They were all offered bail ranging from US$250,000 to US$500,000.
