Death row inmate at Correctional centre killed

A death row inmate at the St. Catherine Adult Correctional Centre was killed late Saturday during a reported fight with another inmate.

The police report that  the deceased, Lester Donaldson, and the man accused of  killing him shared the same cell.
Reports are that shortly after 10 o'clock, the men got into an argument that escalated into a fight and during the struggle, a makeshift knife was used to stab Donaldson in his chest.
   

Prison authorities took him to hospital where he died.The matter is being investigated by the Spanish Town Police.
