Dr. Andrew Wheatley, Minister of Science, Energy and Technology, is recuperating in hospital following a motor vehicle crash in Portmore, St. Catherine Monday morning.
His driver was also injured.
The crash occurred about 9 o'clock at the four-way intersection of Passage Fort, Portsmouth, Waterford and Independence City.
Superintendent Courtney Coubrie, head of Operations at the Highway and Traffic Division of the Jamaica Constabulary Force, said investigations are ongoing into the circumstances which led to the incident.
