Early voting begins in US swing state Georgia

Early in-person voting has started in Georgia, one of seven swing states where Donald Trump and Kamala Harris' campaigns are vying to persuade undecided voters.

Georgia has one of the country's largest proportions of black voters, who are believed to have helped Joe Biden win the state by about 12,000 votes in the last election.

It's also where Mr. Trump and 18 other defendants are accused of criminally conspiring to overturn his defeat in 2020 - the former president has pleaded not guilty.

On the campaign trail, Mr. Trump will be in Chicago on Tuesday for an interview with Bloomberg and Ms. Harris is heading to another swing state, Michigan.

Polls suggest Ms. Harris has a narrow lead over Mr. Trump nationally but it's a mixed picture in the all-important swing states.
