Education Minister lauds Foga Road High School

Education Minister Ronald Thwaites has completed his familiarisation with rural schools after visiting the Foga Road High in Clarendon  on Friday.

The school is the newest in Region six, which consists of Clarendon and St Catherine.

Minister Thwaites met with the school community and explained to the media that he was impressed at the performance of the school since its opening four years ago.

“They are producing excellent results in several feels. They have well equipped plans and a dedicated group of teachers; this is a good recipe for good educational outcomes from their young people success. This tells me that this will become a school of choice in due course. Parents should be quite content when their children are assigned here after the GSAT” he said.

The school, despite being in operation for just under four years, is yet to be officially opened.
