Eight families in a section of Waltham Park Road in Kingston are homeless after fire in the wee hours of Sunday morning razed their dwellings.
No one was reported injured.The fire reportedly started sometime after 2 o'clock at 31c Waltham Park Road.
Only some persons were able to save a few of their belongings.
Mitchell who lost all her belongings said the fire started on a lightpost where illegal wires were connected:
Last night we saw a gash of fire, it caught ablaze then it burnt down a yard ….I don't have a pair of shoes, everything gone…..""
