Volier Johnson
Members of the local theatre and entertainment fraternity continue to react with shock and sadness at the death of actor Volier 'Maffy' Johnson.
Theatre veteran Glen 'Titus' Campbell on Monday shared fond memories of the beloved actor during an appearance on TVJ's Smile Jamaica.
He described Johnson as a natural talent who was a mentor and true friend.
Fame95FM's Full House Friday crew members Collin Hines, Dufton Shepherd and Orville Hall described Johnson as the "Godfather" of the show, the ultimate teacher and an effortless comedian.
With 50 years in the industry, Johnson performed in a number of pantomimes and plays, as well as the Oliver at Large series.
