There is fire at a section of Norman Manley International Airport.
Transport Minister Daryl Vaz confirmed on Friday evening that the fire started in an air condition unit at the Club Kingston VIP Lounge.
Radio Jamaica News understands that some passengers are currently on the tarmac as the terminal building is being evacuated.
Minister Vaz said firefighters have contained the blaze to the VIP lounge, adding that there is no report of injury.
